White magic – a winter holiday in Alta Badia

Ski where the world’s best skiers compete

Snow-capped mountains, silent forests and white expanses dotted with lonely farms – spending a winter holiday in Alta Badia is like entering a fairy-tale world, where foxes and hare play in the snow and international ski stars compete for the World Cup. Come and ski in the Dolomites, surrounded by impressive mountains such as the Lavarella, Piz La Ila, Heiligkreuzkofel and Sella. Just 30 metres from our doorstep, you will find the Piz La Ila lift that takes you right in the heart of the Alta Badia ski resort, with 103 ski runs groomed to perfection, 53 comfortable lifts, several terrain parks and fun slopes, and access to the legendary Sellaronda – the ski tour that connects Alta Badia with the ski areas of Val Gardena/Seiser Alm, Val di Fassa/Carezza, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Arabba/Marmolada. The Alta Badia ski resort also offers access to other popular ski routes, such as the Gebirgsjäger tour or the Lagazuoi ski tour, and several alternatives for non-skiers, too. Options range from ski touring and snowshoe hiking, to ice skating, tobogganing and cross-country skiing in the Alta Badia cross-country skiing centre. For those who wish to soak up the magical atmosphere of the Alpine winter, we recommend a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, and of course a visit to the Christmas markets in Corvara, San Cassiano or Brunico.

After your explorations out in the snow, crown the day by spending some relaxing hours in our wellness centre.
