La Villa is a fraction of the Badia district, the pivotal point of Alta Badia, at the foot of the Gardenaccia and Piz Mountain, overruled by the "Ciastel Colz", an ancient manor house situated in the historical part of the town where the church also lies.
The valley floor gardens, that take the edge off the evocative magnificence of the Dolomiti's bastions, still preserve detectable the traces of the ancient rural takeovers, "viles".
